Cruising through Freiburg im Breisgau
I was very thrill and excited to return to Germany after about five years, I was longing for good German beer at an affordable price.
Freiburg im Breisgau is a quaint city located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, south-west of Germany.
It is a nice cozy town on the edge of the Black Forest, perfect for those who love hiking and camping.
I think it is the perfect town to be creative and also appreciate nature. It would be a nice place to study German.
This city stole my heart with what it is typically known for, the Bächle.
It is a network of small streams which runs through the city for several kilometers.
Local children usually play along the Bächle as an outdoor activity (who needs playgrounds?).
Some would dip their feet, while others come with their wooden toy boats and let their imagination run wild.
It is an ideal place to create childhood memories.
When I spotted these canal-looking streams, I thought it was a neat idea to keep the streets clean but the idea of a spot where kids can play actually never crossed my mind until the moment I took this picture. I said to me myself, well I never thought of it THAT way, it is good a good idea.
This picture sums up Freiburg in a nutshell.
